All cakes orders require a $300 deposit (exc GST). Deposits are non refundable.
Yes, the most exciting part! Cake tasting is included in the price of your cake. Tastings are exclusive, available once a deposit has been received, offered for you and your partner only. Cake tastings are not offered for unconfirmed bookings. Generally I like to hold tastings with my couples no more than 6 months in advance of the wedding date . Unfortunately meetings and tastings are not offered outside of confirmed bookings.
Complimentary delivery (excluding Cape Naturaliste north of Dunsborough, $50 (+gst) delivery fee applies), The most important thing for me is to ensure that your cake arrives, safe, undamaged and on time to your venue.
Cake stand hire can be provided, using a white porcelain cake pedestal, $20 hire fee (the cake stand will need to be returned, I have two drop off points). If you would prefer a different cake display you will need to provide this yourself. All cake toppers and other style props will need to be sourced and provided.
When discussing where to display your cake at the venue, things to keep in mind. A great backdrop that lets your cake shine, no harsh direct sunlight, outdoors (flies, birds or anything else that might like to taste your cake too).
Fresh flowers to garnish the cake need to be ordered from your florist and provided in loose stems. Arranging flowers and dressing the cake is the finishing touch and I prefer to do this myself upon delivery to the venue. A great idea, show your florist photos of the size of your cake with any floral inspiration. Please note some flowers are not suitable for use as a cake decoration. Ask your florist for details regarding toxicity.
Flavour choices; White chocolate & vanilla bean, Lemon & coconut, Passionfruit & lime, Spiced orange & almond, Salted caramel mud, Mum's chocolate mud, Dark chocolate espresso. Gluten free options, Chocolate hazelnut torte, Whole orange and almond. Gluten free options incur a surcharge. All cakes are decorated with buttercream icing.
